Terms of Use — Free Beta

These Terms apply to the free beta version of unlokmi.me available at https://unlokmi.me, operated by Naïm TAHOURI ("we", "us"). Contact: naimtahouri@gmail.com.

1. The service

unlokmi.me lets registered creators build, customize and publish an interactive, fictionalized phone-like webpage (a "Phone") containing apps, photos, videos, notes, music references, simulated messages, contacts, voice recordings, events, notifications and branching interactions. Visitors can explore public Phones without creating an account. These are web simulations, not operating systems, mobile carriers or access to real personal phones.

2. Beta availability and price

During this beta, the service is free of charge. There is no paid plan, subscription, checkout or Stripe integration. Some limits may apply to storage, media duration, number of apps or content items, and resource usage. The limits actually enforced must be disclosed clearly in the product before use. We may change or discontinue experimental features, subject to applicable law and reasonable prior communication when possible.

The features offered free of charge during this beta will remain free, as they are, within the limits shown in the product ("free forever"). We do not promise that a future paid plan will be offered. Any future paid offering will require separate published commercial terms before any purchase.

3. Accounts and eligibility

Creators must be at least 13 years old; below the age of majority, with the permission of a parent or legal guardian. Each creator confirms it when creating their account. Visitors may view publicly available Phones subject to applicable law. The service is not directed at children under 13. Do not create an account for someone else without authorization.

You must provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in credentials and notify us of suspected unauthorized account access. We may use rate limits, security challenges and abuse-prevention measures.

4. Drafts, publication and visibility

Draft content should be private to its creator until that creator intentionally publishes the Phone. A published Phone is publicly accessible to anyone with the URL and may be indexed, cached, shared, captured or archived by third parties; deleting it from unlokmi.me cannot guarantee removal of all external copies.

The creator controls which media, conversations, notes, people and links they add. A contact entry or simulated chat is not evidence of a real relationship or conversation. Content that is staged, fictional or edited must not be used to impersonate, defame, deceive or harass real people.

5. Creator rights, consent and responsibilities

You retain your rights in your uploads. You confirm that you have all necessary rights and permissions to publish them, including copyright, privacy and image/voice rights of identifiable persons. Get appropriate permission before publishing someone else's identifiable image, voice, name, personal details or supposed private messages. Extra caution and applicable parental permissions are required for any content showing children.

You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license, solely for operating and promoting your published Phone as requested by you, to host, store, back up, reproduce, adapt technical file formats, display and distribute the content through the service and necessary subcontractors. This license ends when content is deleted, subject to reasonable technical deletion intervals, legal preservation duties and copies already received by third parties. We do not acquire ownership of your content.

6. Prohibited content and uses

You may not publish or distribute content that is unlawful; infringes intellectual property or personal rights; impersonates real persons deceptively; includes unauthorized personal information; promotes exploitation or abuse of children; constitutes threats, harassment, hateful abuse or non-consensual intimate imagery; facilitates scams, phishing, malware, spam or illegal services; or otherwise violates our Community Guidelines.

Do not create sign-in screens masquerading as real Apple, Google, banking or other credential-collection pages. Do not request account passwords or payment details via fictional Phone apps. Do not use our service to secretly track visitors or solicit sensitive personal data.

7. Third-party services and references

Some features may show music catalog metadata, weather forecasts or links to external websites. Third parties control their own content, APIs and terms. Music listings may not provide playback. A simulated phone call is an in-browser audio experience, not an actual telephone call. Notification and battery indicators are simulated.

8. Reporting, restrictions and appeals

Anyone can report apparently illegal, non-consensual or infringing content by e-mail at naimtahouri@gmail.com. We may assess reports and restrict or remove material, accounts or features in a proportionate manner. When required by law, we will give affected users reasons and available review options.

9. Privacy and visitor memory

Personal data handling is explained in the Privacy Policy and Cookies & Local Storage Policy. Visitor memory may save exploration progress in the browser subject to the user's choice and the applicable tracking rules. Creators must not use the service to circumvent visitors' privacy choices.

10. Availability, data and liability

This is experimental software. We will take reasonable steps to maintain security, integrity and availability, but bugs, interruptions and data loss are possible. Users should retain copies of important uploads. Nothing in these Terms excludes any statutory consumer right or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. We do not guarantee that a Phone will receive views, traffic, or generate income.

11. Account deletion and changes

Creators should be able to unpublish Phones and request deletion of their account and associated data. See https://unlokmi.me/privacy-rights. We may update these Terms to reflect important changes. For material changes, we will notify users by an appropriate means and identify the date of the new version.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by French law, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections available in their habitual country of residence. Courts and complaint rights remain those provided by applicable law; these Terms do not impose mandatory private arbitration.
